Waiheke Island Tour Guide.

​Our director Grant travelled around the world working in tourism and education for many years. By 2012 he was ready to put down roots and moved to Waiheke Island and has felt at home ever since and the world now comes to him. In 2015 Grant established Waivino Tours, providing a range of winery tours on Waiheke Island to facilitate fresh experiences for visitors to Waiheke Island interesting and unique and most importantly, authentic experiences for smaller groups.

Waivino has taken wine tours on Waiheke Island on a new path, providing more personalised tours by getting guests out to more remote parts of this magical island and connecting them with those who create the wonderful world of wine on Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, New Zealand.

All of our winery tour guides have studied under New Zealand’s famous Master of Wine, Bob Campbell. Needless to say this study is backed up with many hours of on the job research!

We offer a culmination of two decades of high quality tourism experience both on Waiheke Island and throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. Waivino Tours has established great relationships with a fantastic range of award-winning wineries and olive groves. We specialise in small boutique wineries where the grapes are lovingly grown on this fertile Jurassic island.
